Freight/floating charges for the Lerwick Pony Sale.

Floating from the Lerwick Mart to Lerwick Pier £3.50 per pony, Freight from Lerwick to Aberdeen £12.50 per pony a total of £16.00 per pony there is of course VAT @ 20% which will also be added to these charges. As to any purchaser that would like their pony/s taken out to Thainstone there will be an additional charge of £10 plus Vat per pony.

You will have to book your floating/freight and Thainstone journey through Alan Donald on the day of sale. The Marts will require these costs paid before the pony/s leave Shetland. As of course the Cost of the pony/s too. Each purchaser as you know will get an individual paint mark which will distinguish that persons pony/s.
