Anyone can become a member of The Pony Breeders of Shetland Association and membership applications will be welcomed from Shetland pony breeders and enthusiasts worldwide. |

REFUSAL OF MEMBERSHIP |

Membership of the Pony Breeders of Shetland Association (PBSA) shall be at the discretion of the PBSA Committee. |

Membership applications will be considered by the PBSA Committee who reserve the right to refuse membership to the Association. |
| | 14. |
By completing and submitting the PBSA Membership Request Form you are deemed to agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of the PBSA as laid down in its Constitution, a copy of which is available to view below. |

THE AIMS OF THIS ASSOCIATION |
| |
| | 1. |
To encourage the improvement of Shetland Ponies on these Islands and to promote them within the Islands and worldwide. |
| | 2. |
To look after the interests of the pony breeders on the Islands. |
| | 3. |
To provide a means of communication between our Association and the Shetland Pony Stud-Book Society. |
| | 4. |
To work in full co-operation and consultation with the Unst Association and any other Island association to further the afore-mentioned objectives. |
| | 5. |
To raise funds to further these objectives. |

THE COMMITTEE |

The Committee consists of current Council members and two immediate retiring Council Members, Secretary and Treasurer. |
| | 2. |
As per the minute of AGM 1989, Mr R A Nicolson to serve as lifetime Honorary Member of this Committee. |
| | 3. |
The Committee reserves the powers to co-opt members for one year as necessary. |
| | 4. |
The Committee reserves the right to refuse membership to the Association. |
| | 5. |
The Pony Breeders of Shetland Association will not condone personal attacks on any individual Association member, Committee member or person acting on behalf of the Association. |

Members are bound by the rules and regulations of the parent body, The Shetland Pony Stud-Book Society. |
